Everybody belongs to a family, even the wanderers among us
who just don’t know it yet.
The family is an experience common to our species. It includes all races, religions, nations, stations
of life and sexual persuasions. It
includes you.
What is a family
“abbey”? It is a way for members of a
family to live their lives together. It
is a way for people to prevent work, career, religion, entertainment and other
distractions from pulling them apart.
The abbey is a place for the family to be the fulfilling experience that
it was meant to be, the kind that our ancestors experienced for thousands of
years.
The home ought to be
the place where people congregate. It is not
a depot on the journey of
life. “Home” is where we live our lives.
The sponsors of this website are followers of Grail Christianity. But the idea of family abbeys is not limited
to Christianity. It is inclusive of all
religions and races, rich or poor. It
includes heterosexuals and gays, monogamists and non-monogamists. Even pagans, Wiccans, and atheists can have
their own abbeys. Reflecting that fact,
this website is designed to accommodate your persuasion.
A part of this website is dedicated to the material and
activities of the sponsors. The rest of
the website provides pages profiling various abbeys that have joined us in this
venture.
